Meet the Owner: Paul McLendon

At the heart of Emerald Edge is founder and owner Paul McLendon, a skilled craftsman with over 20 years of experience in the home improvement and remodeling industry. Originally from the small fishing town of Grand Isle, Louisiana, Paul grew up with a deep respect for hard work, craftsmanship and community values that continue to drive him today.

After proudly serving in the United States Army, Paul transitioned into the remodeling field, quickly earning a reputation along the Emerald Coast for his attention to detail, leadership on major projects and dedication to customer satisfaction. His hands-on approach and strong work ethic have helped countless homeowners transform their spaces, large and small.

In 2025, Paul launched Emerald Edge to offer a trusted, veteran-owned handyman and home improvement service built on honesty, reliability and exceptional quality. Every project, whether it’s a small repair or a major upgrade, is treated with the same level of care and precision he would give his own home.

When he’s not on a job site, Paul enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughters and their family pets. A lifelong football fan, he proudly supports the New Orleans Saints (Who Dat!). Whether he’s tackling a home project or cheering on his team, Paul brings the same passion and dedication to everything he does.
